What We Do

The work we are focusing on can be grouped into three categories. Climate prediction, Environmental characterization and remediation planning, and Chinese opportunities.

Climate Prediction

Using relationships with academic experts in the field of paleolimnology, we are able to reconstruct climate histories over milennia. These reconstructions give us the ability to see how natural climate cycles influence the local environment and predict how future cycles will influence conditions.

Instead of relying on one in a hundred year flood, rule of thumb estimations, we can provide much more refined estimations of the range of climate conditions that will be experienced over the lifetime of a given construction or plan.

Environmental CHARACTERIZATION and remediation

Utilizing Sean's twenty five years of exposure to a wide range of contamination problems, and remediation successes and failures, we understand both, the most efficient way to characterize a problem well enough to plan a remedial intervention for a given set of conditions, and how to plan a remedial intervention that will fit within the constraints; regulatory, financial and physical, that exist in a given situation.

The Middle Kingdom

We are working with Solstice Canada Corp, AOJOA Ecology and Environmental Technology Co. Ltd.China, and a variety of Canadian Service Providers, to transfer our hard won understandings of characterization and remediation possibilities here, to Chinese conditions.
